The film was set in Pandora, a planet in which the humans wore looking for a expensive rock.

Yes, there wore the clever scientists, the hero, Jarheads, Rebel Women and Cross-species love.

3. Outline the narrative?
In the year 2154, the RDA Corporation is mining a valuable mineral called “Unobtanium” on Pandora, a lush, Earth-like moon in the Alpha Centauri star system. Pandora is inhabited by the non-technological Na'vi, ten-foot-tall (3 m), blue-skinned, sapient humanoids that live in harmony with nature and worship a mother goddess called Eywa.

Characters in Avatar

Sam Worthington:
Born on August 2, 1976; Sam Worthington graduated from NIDA (Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art) in 1998 at the age of 22. Sam received critical acclaim for his portrayal of "Arthur Wellesley" in his first professional role in the Belvoir Street Theatre production "Judas Kiss"

Zoe Saldana:
Zoe Saldana was born in New Jersey and raised in Queens, New York. When she was 10 years old, she and her family moved to the Dominican Republic where they would live for the next 7 years.

Sigourney Weaver:
Sigourney Weaver was born Susan Alexandra Weaver in Leroy Hospital in New York City. Her father, TV producer Sylvester L. Weaver Jr., originally wanted to name her Flavia, because of his passion for Roman history (he had already named her elder brother Trajan).
